Easier than you might think. The US Postal Service has these Small Flat Rate mailing tubes that are 25" long and triangular with about a 6" width dimension. I just ordered ten of them for free. I believe that up to four bars would fit in the triangular box and ship for whatever the flat rate might turn out to be. It's either $5.25 or $10.95, depending upon if the boxes ship as Small Flat Rate or Medium Flat Rate. I think they classify as small, but won't know until I get my boxes in 7-10 days. I think my local Post Office is out of those.
I'm so accustomed to using the USPS on-line shipping thing that I'd be perfectly willing to do this for you in exchange for one of the 2' bars. I calculate that each bar would be 6.8 pounds (avoirdupois US weight), so 4 bars per box would be about the most I'd try. I would wrap a thick ball of newspaper on each end and that should keep them from smashing through the box. A test before mailing is easy.
