Picked my first Project
#1
I am setting my shop up for retirement and have a few patentable ideas but first need to hone my skills, have been thinking of a first project to get me started. Bought the plans for Farmboy Engine they are OK but the other day I found a much nicer project to build. The plans are too large to attach but will look for the link, and here it is http://www.machinistblog.com/free-plans-...ss-engine/ This is a beautiful little engine a project in which you make everything even the spark plug and points, the plans are very complete and should be a great project to hone my skills and produce something that I can be proud of and my sone can treasure long after I am gone. After that I am going to build Gerards Shaper if I live that long hihi tom

Hi Tom Big Grin

As you say ,,, making every part yourself in your shop ,,, in my opinion is the best way Cool ,, there is no rush ,, take your time and enjoy the build , its a hobby not a contest .
