You have a lathe Ed and therefore the capability to wind your own spring. It's loads of fun and super dangerous!

Tom, I may have the equipment to do the job but not the skill, nor the balls, to try and wind a dangerous object. I still have all of my digits and eyes intact and I'd like to keep them that way. Ed

Actually it's not that bad with a little common sense. Maybe I'll do a video on spring winding for something a little different.

Mike - could you post some pics of the Braille mics that you have in the Metrology section please? BillyG recently got a Braille mic and it was interesting to see.
