I cast a brass corpus in my new foundry sand. This is only the first step.

Nice job but I'm curious.  Why brass and not bronze?  Bronze is usually, but not always, easier to work with.

Thank you, the reason I did not use bronze is because I only have two primary metals that I work with. Those are aluminum and brass. I have done a little bit of cast iron, but that is it. I am planning to do bronze, iron, stainless steel, and other metals in the near future. But in the mean time I am working with what I know. And if what you say about bronze being easier than that is a light in the horizon!

Bronze has a lower melting point than brass. That's what I meant about it being easier to work with.

Finally finished the brass corpus project, and it turned out way better than I thought it would!
