Very nice Doc - I love it :)
Not too happy about where you plan to place your auxiliary spark gap though. It will generate heat and if enclosed bad things might happen before you realise it and start a fire. I'd place it outside and visible.

I do plan on rebuilding (or trying to) a model T coil. Plus wind some more coils and try and get the voltage it will throw a good spark down to 2 to 3 volts. |
