Very nice. What does the bracket on the indicator fit?

The bracket fits my BXA tool post, it has a split UHMW bushing in a split adjustable hole
to set the tension on the indicator nose tube to keep it in place while twisting the face up to read
after flipping from face indicating to radial indicating.
It is designed to keep the indicator on center axis by just dropping it to the bottom
of the tool post without any height adjustment..............
There is a video on youtube by the guy who came up with the idea
If you are familiar with the Hobby Machinist site it can be found in the Shop Made tooling
section on that forum

That's a good idea. I never thought about mounting an indicator to the tool post. As for the aforementioned forum, most of us here are outcasts from there after deciding not to put up with the shenanigans of the owner, but I'm sure there is a lot of good information over there (some of it mine) Big Grin .

I thought I had seen some of your work over there, that was a sad state of affairs for all involved.
That internal politics problem seems to have gone away from the site now, and the new administration
team is good to go, at least for me.
I personally don't play that kind of game and ignore it when it starts.
I don't use the Home shop machinist site much anymore due to attitudes from some members.
Nuff on that crap !!!

Well, you won't see any of that crap here. We just need to get the word out and recruit some new members.

Love the indicator holder, I made one for the QCTP but I have to unscrew the indicator from one end and screw it onto the other end to go from radius to face. Yours is betterer.
Some detail on the boring head would be great.
