I don't normally recommend tools from Harbor Fright, but they have a decent, very basic 6" bench grinder. As long as it spins, it's hard to go wrong for $39.99.

My neighbor has a Delta, it's a nice grinder. The old Cummins Tools grinder I had slowed down to nothing even just touching up a tool bit. It made a better vibrating table than it did a grinder. That Delta doesn't slow down at all. $30 is a good price for it, too. When you go look at one, if on craigslist, take a piece of steel with you and try grinding it to see if it slows. If it does with little effort, pass on it.

Thanks for all the grinder info fellas
When I get my belt grinder I'll post some pics let me know what you all think and then maybe I can pass on a grinder.
Cheers
