Today started out as as a rough day, a 3+ hour ride in a car to look at the boiler on job site. The car arrived to pick me up at 4 AM, between the pain drugs, the shoulder sling and my pleasant demeanor, the ride was somewhat uneventful. I did get to tell the head piping contractor to F.O., after a review of the job blueprints, the mechanical drawings of the boiler from the manufacturer and the sketches I made 4-5 months ago, they finally saw their error and will have the piping redone to specs by 11/21, for the walk through and the start up is to start the week of 11/28/16.

SO after my ride home, I found a box in the house, that came in the day's deliveries. Inside a box, with a plaque company logo, I found the following sign (See picture below). Because of my tool inventory levels and machine count, the shop was named  The Machine Closet, by Cutter on the Shopfloortalk.com forum. On an aluminum plate, 18" x 12" is the sig stating "The Machine Closet", "Quality Metal Fabrication"

The sign will take up a prominent place of honor in the shop. The idea, that someone thinks your work has a quality to it, warms a GNAP's heart

I have no proof of who sent the sign, but I have my suspicions.

It was me who sent it Jack. There should have been an invoice for $50, with payment option in there. I'll send you a PM with instruction on how to pay me Big Grin
