Your install is probably fine but I thought I'd pass it on anyway ...

The reason I happen to know about this is ... wait for it ... I installed Linux Mint to one of my machines in late February and yes, it was the infected version. Interesting in that I installed the 32 bit version to a laptop and the 64 bit version to a desktop on the same day. The 32 bit version was fine but the 64 bit version was infected. I learned about the issue when I did a software update of the 64 bit version. The updater said "it is infected" and would not proceed. I wiped the drive and reinstalled and all is well.

Arvid,

Thanks for that. I did see it and made sure I checked the checksums on the files. So far, all is good. I sure do like it better than Windoze. I'm sick of being harassed about updating to Windoze 10.  Bash

Just went to Tools | Save Picture. Gave it a filename, clicked Save and it looked like it worked. Nothing was saved.

Interesting... the .xsession-errors file says it was a null image. Wonder if that's also why it won't save a pdf or print. More digging to do...

So I have all of these parts drawn up in 3D but now I don't know what to do with them?  17428

I need to get them onto a sheet with dimensions. More digging necessary I guess.

I looked on the freecad forum and it seems others have had the same problem. Many have just used the screen shot that comes with the OS.

Very nice Ed. I've been mucking around a bit with Onshape but it takes me more tries to get a drawing right than when I'm actually making a part, and that is saying something.
Now I want to know what tool you're going to use to get the end of the keyway square like the drawing.
Lathe (n); a machine tool used in the production of milling machine components.

More like I need to figure out how to get that end rounded in the drawing so it'll match the end mill I'll be using to cut the key-way. Big Grin
