If easy dis-assembly is Your goal, just "bump" a part too hard when "finding" it in Your mill vise. Finding the spring and reassembling it is another matter.

Hi All,
I thought you might like to see my center finder. Its one that I made recently from a bit of scrap and a cheap (Aldi) laser pointer.
This picture shows the dimensions I used, but its not at all critical. I used an angle of 10 degrees, but if you want to focus more closely to the work then 15 degrees would be better.
