Chuck - sorry if my reply came across as me thinking you were being a smart arse, that was not my intention. I was just trying to reiterate my initial post, which I thought had been missed or misinterpreted.
The nomenclature will be extremely useful, as others have pointed out. Ken is extremely knowledgeable in this area and only too willing to help. Not holding the insert securely in an application such as fly cutting will almost definitely result in premature failure of the insert. This is why I suggested getting them to resolve the issue. Don't let them fob you off. I had a large US company try to fob me off late last year and I refused to give in. It took numerous emails, several different people but I finally got the result I was looking for, plus a nice discount on my order. In today's society where people vent on social media, companies are quickly realizing that it is in their best interest to satisfy their customers. For example, it won't take long for this thread to turn up in Google searches for CTC.
Whatever path you choose to follow, I do hope it works out for you and you have a usable tool at the end of the day.

Chuck,
The screw you should be using for an ISO standard 10mm RCxT10M0 insert would be an M3.5x7 (or longer), which would have a 60º head taking an T15 (Torx) or T15IP (Torx Plus) wrench/screwdriver.
There's a VERY good chance I've got something for you. I'll check and get back to within a couple of hours. I'm away from my shop but should be going over there later this afternoon.
Regards,
Ken

Much appreciated Ken. As I said, my temp fix seems to work for straight lathe turning. The finish is very nice. I havn't tried it on flycutting yet, I'm not set up for it. I do have some aluminum castings to skim, will try it then.

I managed to turn a tiny bushing for the original tool holder screw, so it works for the moment. I have had replies to inquiry's to a couple of resellers of inserts, and even CTC has responded they are "looking into it". I don't really expect much help from CTC, but I'll give them a chance.

Thanks for your help, all.

Chuck,
OMG I can't believe the price on that insert!! A whopping $45 for ONE insert, are they nuts? Twice the price of the holder is just insane.
I wish you had pinged me about this before you spent the money because I've got two packages of those inserts (in a Walter grade) and would have been happy to send you a couple for free. Moreover, the Walter holder I have uses a lever clamp system, so no screws are needed. Mine is a PRDCN2525M10, so it's a 25mm square shank.
I checked the price of the Walter RCMT10T3M0 (molded) inserts and they list at about $11.50 each. The precision ground ones, RCGT10T3M0 run about $16.30 each, still considerably less money. The Walter lever clamp holders run about $100, the screw type run about the same or even a little more depending upon shank size. What size do you have?

Pixman, the inserts were $45 for a pack of 10. I thought the same as you when I first looked at them. The same or equivalent insert from other vendors was about the price you quoted for the Walter.
When I ordered the tool holder, I forgot to order the inserts, and promptly e-mailed CTC to add them to my order. They totally ignored the e-mail and I had to order them separately. I posted on multiple forums looking for 1 or 2, but all that replied said they had bigger inserts, none that would fit my tool.
I bought this set mainly to have an easier to use flycutter, haven't tried it in that roll yet.

I returned the inserts and tool holder to CTC today per Heine's suggestion, with a promise from him of a complete refund, including shipping both ways. We'll see if his word is good. Results, good or bad will be reported here.
Shame he couldn't come up with the correct screw, and he is selling the stuff!

I received a notification today from PayPal that Heine of CTC Tools had refunded the cost of the lathe tool, inserts, and shipping to return them.
Case closed.
