Source for metric set screws?
#11
I have one of those instruments. My dad picked it up at a flea market (car boot sale) for $5 US and asked me to see if I could get $10 for it.

8 years later I still have it. The box is rough on the outside, but the tool seems to work fine.

We used to use force gauges like that to set contact pressure on 1000 series Strowger relays and uniselectors back in the dim and distant past !

You could have sold Willie the screws for $10.00 Ken Big Grin

Probably not. I only paid $4.99 for the gauge as I was the sole bidder on fleabay. Big Grin

I don't know if the screws are the same size or not since Ken's is the 'small' body gauge and mine is a 'large' body gauge. Chin

Stromberg huh? Wow that's a name I haven't seen in a looong time. Smiley-signs021

When new these gauges originally sold for hundreds of dollars!

For some reason Stromberg Carlson rings a bell in my empty cranium. No pun intended with "rings a bell" although it's sorta fitting as they were into sound, telephones and switching equipment, a far cry from the present day RV equipment and accessory manufacturer of today.
