Thanks guys, used it tonight and it worked great. I think I might have a go at an er 25 collet block next.

I really don't think that adding ER25 will give you any more flexibility than an ER32? You can get ER32 collets that grip as small as 1mm (0.039"), which is the same size as the smallest ER25.

Personally, I would have thought an ER40, which would give you up to 26mm (1.024") capacity. Or, go to ER50 which would give you 32mm (1.339") capacity.

I had the same though Mayhem but I have an extra ER25 collet nut, if all goes well I'll make a larger one as well. I only have ER25 and 32 collets so I will probably stick to those sizes.

Thanks for the clarification Shawn.

Given the ER32 collets span the same size range (and more) than the ER25s, I'd be tempted to sell the ER25 collets and buy either the ER40 or ER50 collets - not a full set, just the 21mm and upward (eight ER40/ER50 collets in total).

Looks great Shawn. Glad to hear there was enough depth to stay with the ER32 size. You'll love having it.
I use mine a lot.
If it's crazy but it works, it's not crazy.
