That's certainly deserving of a couple of You Suck You Sucks.

Nice score!

Awesome, glad you got her Mike. That's going to be a great addition to your shop. Nice to get something at a good price and completely tooled. The double barrel mike is certainly odd, is there a specific purpose for that?

My guess that mic is used as a go/no go gauge.

Aw, thanks, guys. I appreciate the envy. Rotfl

It occurred to me yesterday that we are a bit slow at work, so I'm taking tomorrow off to move the lathe. If we can drop in my driveway in the morning, I think I can move it around the house and into place in the afternoon.

I agree with Mayhem. The double has to be a go/no-go. Only down-side is that it's metric, but I can still use it.

If it is metric Mike you had best send it to me. It will corrupt all your inch tooling whilst you are asleep and ruin your whole life. Best not to risk it.

Impressive buy, as stated, there is a bunch of money there in accesories if you had to track them down and purchase them.
Neat machine. Congrats!!

Moving day. The seller called just after 11:00. Took an hour twenty to load up and drop the lathe in my garage.

The journey begins. My side driveway is a type of gravel that breaks through with no warning, so I'm using a couple of sheets of plywood to build a road.

Halfway there.

The 2x4 across the dolly allows it to pivot over any small obstacles.

Around the last corner.

Waiting at the door.

Not much room to slide through. Big Victoria mill on the other side.

The lathe is in place at 5:00 sharp.

Just have to run the power and she'll be running.
