My wife has advanced from ICU to the pneumology floor and now is in respiratory therapy at the local hospital. So what's that got to do with gantry cranes? Well last night I glanced up at the ceiling of her room to discover a light weight (500# max I guess) crane mounted so its just below the ceiling tile and above the bed.
If you're anywhere close to a hospital, nursing home, rehab center, etc that is being torn down, rehabed, etc that may be a good place to find a light weight crane to mount above a machine tool.

A vet hospital would be even better. You should see the ones they use to position horses!
Glad to hear your wife is on the mend Stan.
