Well guys picked up a 1945 Atlas 6" x 48" belt sander in fair condition. Right now I am in the process of cleaning it up, replacing some bearings, and painting. I should have pictures to follow in a week or so. Anyway I was able to find some of the original documentation on the sander on the web, actually a publication dated 5-15-62, so they must have made the same unit for a long time, which shows the sander and some fences that came with it. The fences were used when the sander is in the horizontal position, and consist of a slide fixture, and bolt. Actually it shows two fences, a cross fence and a parallel fence. Here are a couple of pictures from the documentation of the fences
Does anyone out there have these two fences and attachment hardware? If so could I get some dimensions as to the length and height of the two fences, the length and height of the mounting brackets. I am sure with those measurement I can fabricate the parts myself.
So if you could take the time and help me out I would appreciate it.
