I'll be studying the manual for it this week and expect to get over there and make chips soon. It's been tough to find time because I'm so busy with work and helping my parents with daily tasks. Evening meals, my mom's insulin shots, picking up groceries and drug prescriptions, so much more.
I'm trying to come up with some useful project in steel, aluminum or plastic as it seems I've suddenly for about 80 pounds of drops from some job shop owner I know. ;)
As for the mini cassette recorder, I think that's only good for saving programs. If I want to listen to Barry Manilow, I'll have to fire up the 8-track player from the 1970's.
If you need more steel Ken, I have plenty of "no name" steel bars over at the other shop. For the most part, you can visually tell what they are by where they have been cutoff in either the machine or the saw, but most of it is useless to me other than for oddball stuff that requires no certs which is rare for us.
A lot of it has surface rust as well from being over there with no climate control. Never even thought of that as being a problem since I've always worked in such an environment.
Don't be bashful about asking either. You've helped me out more than enough times with advice and bargains on tools and for that I will always be more than happy to return favors!
