So Jack, what's the theory behind your sander? Is one section of the belt backed like a normal sander and one section left unbacked for freehand work? It looks like a well made machine.

Tom

It is a very well thought out machine, there is 3 different size rollers in an assembly that can be rotated to bring them each into play, its a 1", 1-1/2" and 2" rollers, the drive roll is 8" and the tension/guide wheel is 4". It can be rotated 360 degrees, with lock stops. it can be used vertical or horizontal, has 3 different size platens, 4 different work rests and can be used with or without platens. The belt speed id 3600 fpm, 120 volt and priced at about $2000 (I bought mine as a show special for $1500 plus tax).
