I think the problem with forums is that some people try to act like they know something because it was on wikipedia or came from another site. I like to refer to this as "telling someone else's lie." Not necessarily that you were being malicious but you do need to check sources. I just try to make sure when I post something that I haven't experienced myself I point out that it makes logical sense but may or not be the correct answer. I try to not perpetuate "telling someone else's lie."
