Well, seeing that I don't have a 1" holder for the 50 taper, it is useful as it is for that. So I'll probably keep it unless I can trade it for something like an ER 40. I probably won't try to modify the chuck. It's hard, so I'd have to grind it anyway. I don't have the time to mess with it right now.
Well, my forum life has boiled down to 3. There was just too much to keep up with. Two for machining and one for antique radios. That's plenty. Sometimes, I have too much work going, and don't get to post much anywhere, and sometimes I have plenty of time, so I get to comment a lot. I'm just glad I can.
