Chuck - sorry if my reply came across as me thinking you were being a smart arse, that was not my intention. I was just trying to reiterate my initial post, which I thought had been missed or misinterpreted.
The nomenclature will be extremely useful, as others have pointed out. Ken is extremely knowledgeable in this area and only too willing to help. Not holding the insert securely in an application such as fly cutting will almost definitely result in premature failure of the insert. This is why I suggested getting them to resolve the issue. Don't let them fob you off. I had a large US company try to fob me off late last year and I refused to give in. It took numerous emails, several different people but I finally got the result I was looking for, plus a nice discount on my order. In today's society where people vent on social media, companies are quickly realizing that it is in their best interest to satisfy their customers. For example, it won't take long for this thread to turn up in Google searches for CTC.
