I don't have the time to mess with it right now.
Well, my forum life has boiled down to 3. There was just too much to keep up with. Two for machining and one for antique radios. That's plenty. Sometimes, I have too much work going, and don't get to post much anywhere, and sometimes I have plenty of time, so I get to comment a lot. I'm just glad I can.

Sounds like a good plan on the holder, hang onto it as it has a size you need.
As for forums, I monitor a bunch of yahoo groups, and keep my eye on a few forums, but since I was IP banned for life for no known reason that I could determine on my old favourite haunt that I spent hundreds if not thousands of hours fixing stuff on I have been laying low and not doing much at all. I have posted a bit to SFT and here. Do not do much with PM although I did find a link to a gentleman that gave me all sorts of help designing my low profile bridge crane. Otherwise keeping very busy with work and not much time for leisure.

Yup misinformation can be a bad thing. I am trying to do my part to mentor those that have less experience than myself and find that the forums and yahoo groups is a good way to at least try to help. There are not many in my area that are infolved in this type of work and those few I can help out person to person, but the rest, I do my best to help out where I can. Also, I have found that I have learned a lot in doing all this mentoring so seems to work out good alround.
So when push comes to shove, yup, I think that these forums do more good than bad, and mis-information gets corrected quickly and I know that I have made friends that I would otherwise never have met.
