Spindle Tach

I have a tach rpm metyer I bought off e-bay they are often on there comes from China. They often sell for 20 to 30 bucks, I bid on one and got it for about 10 bucks, I take a battery aand comes in a vinyl pouch about 1 inch x5x3. All that is involved in using is to tape a small retroreflective strip on whatever you want to measure, pointing it as you would with an infrqred thermometer and reading the display. Excellent for the price and one can check the rpm of anything that turns. tom
