I was going to run this on the thread that I already had started when I was redoing the slides and such on the mini mill, BUT changed my mind.
so first off here are some photos of the parts and such that I had done already and posted overthere.
the long plate on the X Axis mount will be cut off as it will mount directly onto the end of the table in line with the leadscrew
and here is the mount that I am building for the Z axis that will mount on top of the column with the screw mounted to the top of the head, I found this design on another site and liked it because with the screw mounted this way you don'
t have any off center pull like there is with some of the setups that have the screw mounted to the side with it being driven by the motor instead of like in this design the nut is driven and the screw stationary.
