In the late 70's I was a UPS delivery driver. One of the delivery stops was the local Harley dealer. Having owned a number of bikes ... anywhere from a 50cc Cub to the 750 Four, several Ducati's and a Bridgestone mixed in there for good measure ... I was fascinated by fact that each of the Harley's in the showroom had a baking sheet pan under it to catch the oil.
Knowing that the "Positive Loss Oil System" technology had been abandon by all bike manufacturers many years earlier I could only wonder why people actually bought them.
