Digging up an old thread, only been 6 years to get around to making another attachment, might actually get this thing tooled up by the time I die. lol
Found some interesting ideas on the net for drill sharpeners and combined them all.
First this jig aligns and positions the bit in the holder.

The plate at the front has horizontal lines scribed on it. The bit is positioned with one flute against a finger then slid along till the other cutting edge aligns with the scribes. The back stop is then set.

The older is then set in this jig that swings the bit over the face of the wheel. Cutting angle and clearance can be set to what ever. Here its 118 deg angle and 8 degrees clearance.

The results on a 1 3/8 bit, could never get the edges even on this big a drill.

Actually two attachments, had to dress the wheel so made a dresser.
