We want to buy the above Inserts for UNC, UNF and our Metric External Threading, really hoping (albeit doubtfully), that a batch of these will suffice for most Pitches from 0.5mm to 3.0mm (as Advertised).
Problem is some Sellers refer to these as a "Partial Profile", which we understand (again doubtfully), to mean that it would not be used to cut the final thread.
Is our understanding accurate and is this the correct way to go ??
The Prices of some are luring as we need not dig too deep into our (shallow) pocket. And we need not buy a particular Insert for a specific Pitch.
Would immensely appreciate feedback from U Guru's on this quandary
