Changing leadscrew pitch

If you were closer Steve I'd cut it for you for that price and use better steel, you know the shiny kind.
If you went with the 6 mm pitch and changed the gearing to the QCGB by a ratio of 6/4 the thread chart should still be correct. By the time you buy or cut the gears though you'd have the same money or time invested.
Free advice is worth exactly what you payed for it.
