That barrel is pretty much a none-trick pony, right ?  One wouldn't think of a TC .410 when hiking, for example, even if snakes were a worry.  And the .45 Long Colt is not an especially desirable cartridge unless a SAA Colt came along with a box of them 

That's a pretty Contender, nicer wood than what I usually see !
