I have a few different chamberings for my Contender including a 10" bull barrel in .30-30 and yes they do grab your attention. But I have to say I much prefer my .223 barrel over the .30-30 in a handgun. Velocity, accuracy, and even the size of the "fireball" are much greater out of the .223.
The .45 Long Colt/410 barrels aren't all that rare. T/C got away with some of them by having removable rifling/choke tubes but they never really appealed to me for some reason.
