Router Cutters In The Lathe

Since I did that little experiment the idea, although not routinely used, has been helpful.  This is a replacement for the original camera tripod part lost on a camping trip.  A router cutter was used for a bit of decorative turning on the end and the fluting was added on the mill.  Could have just used a short piece of knurled aluminum but this is nicer
