Thankyou for your interest Stan, I've emailed 2 departments at Turnell & Odell and sadly had no reply fron either, I also contacted the local museum at Wellingborough where the company are located to see if any archives were sent to them, they did reply but have no information. I could try the county archives but that will require an arranged visit to Northampton.
I'm hopeful to find a match for the change gears with another make of lathe. My uneducated resurch so far says Harrison L5 L6 or 140 lathes could be a match for the gears, I'm hoping one or two forum members have these lathes to see if any dimentions match.
