Further work has now been done on the back plate, the seating's for the accessory shaft bearings have been machined so the plate can now be fitted with the dummy shaft.
The flanges for the camshaft sprocket have been made, the outer one is thicker to accommodate the small magnet for the ignition trigger. this flange can be rotated independently to adjust the ignition timing for that individual cylinder.
With a temporary head gasket of the correct thickness added the belt tension now looks a lot better.
