I reached that point a couple of years ago, and put my collection on consignment with a local firearms dealer. He did the work of advertising on the internet, and I notified the different clubs I use to compete at, and also placed flyers at the shooting ranges in my region. Results were good, and most everything sold within a couple of months. I did keep all the related equipment, and optics, which are not considered politically incorrect, like I care, and which I know will be impossible to duplicate in the future.
