Got this at an auction. Can't see much of the metal. The bins near the top are empty, which was actually good 'cuze the ones at the bottom were really overstuffed and had to be split up among the empty ones. Turns out most of the steel was tool steel, some marked D-2, some not. There were a number of rounds in there, 2" dia, 5.250" long. Some were still in packages that were marked. SF-2050. I had never heard of it before and it took awhile to find a datasheet on it. I finally did and here's what it says about it:
The hardness range is: Super Hard BHN: 355-390; HRC: 38-42; N/mm squared: 1202-1322.
The shelving unit came with it, I really didn't want it and some guy picking up his stuff offered me $50 for it. It's his now!

is a new prehardened mould
steel grade specially designed for through
hardenability, ease of machining and simple
post-production mould maintenance. It has
high impact strength and excellent temper
resistance. The well-balanced chemistry assures
homogeneous hardness and near no section
hardness loss due to mass.
