My son and I finally finished up the YZ250. We actually took it Up North a couple weeks back, but had trouble with a leaky float valve and getting the rear brake bled, so we couldn't ride it. This weekend will be different as everything is fully functional. Overall we rebuilt the entire engine, sandblasted and repainted the frame, replaced all of the traditional Yamaha blue and white plastic with black for something a little different, completely rebuilt the brakes, added a larger (black) fuel tank and recovered the seat, in black of course. The only thing we missed was the white strut covers, but that will be easily remedied with another order to Rocky Mountain ATV.
We can't wait to try it out because it was getting pretty tired before coming unglued last summer in typical two stroke fashion.
