Oh, what to look for.. The bronze bushings for the table feed hand wheel (the large one) on mine were shot so I had to turn a couple of new ones. If you want to inspect the table's ways, the table lifts right off - I recommend removing it to transport it. It's not light, especially with the magnet on it. No play in the grinding wheel. The two main lift points are the posts that stick out the sides in the back. The casing for the table's Z feed (front to back) is the third but I suspect that's only for balancing. Also, it just lifts off of the base, not bolted down.
