The Oxpho Blue is all I use any more. One thing I have found though is that you need to keep it well oiled, because it will rust a lot quicker than a hot salts bluing.
I've had great success using Brownells baking lacquer applied with an airbrush for aluminum receivers, trigger guards, etc. A black sharpie works sometimes. Sometimes they dry to a nice dark black, and sometimes they dry to a purple shade.
