Dressing a wheel

I do that with "dig-in" in mind, but I really think it's so you don't damage the tip. Point it down stream and just past the wheel center. Rotate it in the holder once in a while.
Dunno how you'd get it on center, eyeballing across 3-4 inches like that. Just past center seems safe. Thanks given by: Mayhem
