Just a quick update in case you thought I disappeared. I took a picture of the toolpost with the holder flush with the bottom of the body. There is over 1/4 inch before the center.

I also received the parts for the CT1440G from Fred at Ackhurst in BC (Cantek Dealer). They are definitely the correct parts. I just ended up ordering the cross slide leadscrew and nut instead of having Pixman make one. I think he could be too busy with his own stuff anyway.

But before I can do any fun, I have to deal with this:

My 2 week estimation was 2 months ago! So much for that. At the rate I'm going it could be another month before I can get to the lathe. Anyway take care and I'll start posting when I can.
