It's good to double check. Imported machines have a tendency to use metric screws with a yankee dial and they'll be off a tad.
lead screw is it is 10PI however that is the constant that we do know now my dum Q is doesnt the amount/ divisions on the dial have to do with Diam of dial and or lead screw?
I dunno from what I see is one full rev is about .120 now what id like to know or see is the math that proves it cant seem to get ratio ?
is it the diam of lead screw yea that's it no?
Btw im just curious if I was gona make a dial for Z column crank last night I looked at set up best for me to make a tab and use a basic mag / indicator I can easily use up to 1" travel for column all I need if I decide to add DRO than maybe ill add the 3rd axis otherwise its not really needed as far as im concern 1" is plenty for face mill ops
