Thanks Tom - that is one reason that I jumped at the it. I honestly didn't expect to win it. I figured that it would be another eBay item that people went crazy for in the last hour. In the end, only one other person bid on it - and I beat him 
Perhaps his description [Mitutoyo Absolute 543 Series Digital Micrometer ID-F125] excluded it from searches by people who were actually looking for a digimatic indicator.
I've ordered the check stand that I linked to above. I'm really starting to like the International Global Shipping program that eBay have. For US$22 that is shipped from the US to me.
