Not wanting to hijack Mike's drawbar thread, I thought I'd start my own thread on building the power drawbar for my new mill. I've started gathering the needed supplies. I knew I had the shafting for the guide rods but wasn't sure about the 1/2" aluminum plate. I got lucky and found two perfect candidates. I've got the bronze for the bushings but that will have to wait until I've got the new nut for my existing mill made up since the bushings for this project will come from the same bronze rod. There should be plenty but having screwed up three tries at making the nut, I'm going to give the priority to the mill nut until I get it right.
