Got a bit more done on my drawbar wrench/hammer. The lead flowed behind the nut in the centre of the brass fitting I used, which will lock it in nicely. I should have taken a pic of the lead face before giving it a few test hits! I'm going to steal Ed's idea of some wood on the handle, as for me this is as much about getting some milling under my belt as it is about making the tool. I'm going to use some Eucalyptus marginata (same wood as the shelves on my stock rack).
