The 9x49 is a great mill with the same head as the 935. It is a full-size mill and cannot be delivered via a liftgate truck so you will have to arrange pickup from a freight dock.
If your work envelope dictates a larger mill then definately go for the 9x49, otherwise the 9x35 will do a great job. They have the same "Y" axis travel and only about 5" difference in "X" travel so keep that in mind. I use my 9x35 to support my motorcycle and automotive performance shop and so far I have not run across anything I could not do on it. I am sure there will be some things down the road but thus far nothing jumps out that I would have issues with. It is such a smooth running and rigid machine, I love using it.
I equipped my 9x35 with X-axis power and the Easson ES8A DRO and glad I did both. I had never used a DRO before and love how easy it is and quick to do some of the functions.
Good luck in your decision.
Mike.
