Is there a standard taper for the chuck?
There are some arbors listed for different chucks but I want a ½ to 5/8 straight arbor.
To get an arbor with possible zero run out I may end up making one between centers on my Atlas lathe.
Until I get delivery of the chuck I will not know if it has a arbor for a lathe, an R-8 or a straight arbor it was not in the description.
If the arbor is straight I am good to go if it is not to long.
The reason for a straight arbor is to keep the drill chuck as short as possible.
Please excuse my lack of proper names for the chuck parts in question.
Any information will be helpful.

I also won a "Albrecht 1/2" keyless chuck with No. 2 morse taper. One jaw has damage near end about
3/16" in length(see pic). Otherwise chuck works ok."
Any clue on the taper for the chuck on this one.
Since it ended up being $31.00 Plus $5.25 I thought I would take a chance on it also.
I may use the 1/2' on my mill and the 5/8" on my lathe.
I have been bidding on Albrecht keyless chuck's for a month or more but looked at them on many of the youtube videos.
