I love 7075. It's incredibly strong for aluminum, machines a little tougher than 6061-T651 but the tensile strength and dimensional stability is superior. A place not far from me that specializes in AR15 type guns and accessories uses that 7075 for anything where steel isn't absolutely required. And they make top-notch stuff.
