Thanks for straightening me out on that. It makes sense.
I've also seen both because my nearby machining neighbor Rollie Gaucher has built both styles, plus the moving wooden mock-ups. Fascinating stuff, I sometimes wish I had the focus to take on such a thing but at least I'm honest with myself and don't bother starting.
