I am new to this forum. I found the fantastic rebuild done by a forum member of his Harrison L5
.
I have a L5 Harrison, same vintage - rather rear over here in Australia.
I have fitted a new 2hp 3 phase motor and a VFD . the lathe came with a odd 240V DC motor, the lathe was used on a ship .
I did learn quite a lot , looking through the rebuild pages .
