Sure helps keep things clean on the inside of an engine or gearbox, also note lots of the gearboxes in todays large trucks are painted with what apears to be the same paint. tom
+1 with Rustoleum Red Primer on the interior of several small block Chevrolet engines and never a problem that was paint related.
